Handmade in Japan by skilled craftsmen using carefully selected industrial-grade steel, these strings deliver a remarkably clear, dynamic, and long-lasting stainless tone.
The slightly heavier gauge (.045–.106) ensures a solid low-end and strong presence.
Compared to the nickel type, the stainless alloy winding provides a tighter, harder-edged sound with excellent note separation and clarity.
Despite its brightness, the BS-C4S offers a refined, balanced stainless sound—clear, defined, and never harsh.
Each string has been repeatedly refined through material selection and trial production, resulting in stable tension, fast response, and versatility across genres.
The taper-core E string provides powerful low-end resonance with quick attack.
